一般和个别视角下的形而上学

什么是形而上学，形而上学在哲学以至整个科学文化中处于什么地位，如何研究形而上学等都是哲学一直在探讨的问题。对形而上学的理解体现了中西哲学精神一个十分重要的区别，但研究形而上学，我们已经不能仅仅局限于辨析它们的真实含义，更重要的工作在于将中西哲学精神结合起来，为我们的哲学发展寻找一种新的视角。实际上，研究一般与个别的关系既可以实现西方哲学一直在追求的哲学为科学奠基的任务，也可以为中西哲学精神的融合开辟一条通道。中国形而上学的本质在于一般和个别的“道”、“器”之辨；西方哲学的精神在于哲学为科学奠基。由一般和个别的角度出发，提出形而上学研究的新的对象，目的在于引进这种西方科学精神。

By studying the relation between the general and the individual, it is possible to fulfill the mission self-appointed by western philosophy to make philosophy the basis of science and open up a way for the integration of Chinese and western philosophical spirit. The nature of Chinese philosophy lies in the distinguishing between general ＂Tao＂ and individual ＂Tool＂, while the spirit of western philosophy can be found in the conviction that philosophy should lay a foundation for scientific research. Starting from the perspective of general vs. individual and calling attention to new object of metaphysical study, this article intends to see the introduction of western scientific spirit.
