概念语法隐喻的教学思考

摘    要:成人说理性语篇在外语学习中有较大的理解困难,本文根据Halliday的语法隐喻观,对直白式或隐喻式语言现象作了简要对比分析,并从认知论的角度,分析了语法隐喻式、直白式与理解困难之间的关系,认为语法隐喻现象是导致语义理解困难的重要原因,从而提出成人语篇的英语教学中引入语法隐喻的必要性,应对语法隐喻语言现象进行适当的理性学习。

Abstract:The comprehension of adult reflective and argumentative discourses is a challenge for language learners.This paper,in light of Halliday's Theory of Grammatical Metaphor,firstly gives a brief analysis of the congruent form and the metaphorical form.Then it analyses,from the cognitive perspective,the relations between grammatical metaphor,congruent form and the comprehension difficulties with the two metaphors.Hence it argues that grammatical metaphor is a noticeable cause of the difficulty in semantic understanding and that it is necessary to introduce grammatical metaphor in the teaching of adult discources and to study the grammatical metaphor rationally.
