著名园艺植物育种学家谭其猛教授研究

谭其猛（1914-1984）,浙江嘉兴人,著名园艺植物育种学家和农业教育家,是国内首批蔬菜育种学科唯一的博士研究生导师,蔬菜育种学教材的奠基人,历任复旦大学副教授、沈阳农学院教授1,934年毕业于浙江大学农学院并留校任教,应吴耕民教授邀请赴西北农林专科学校园艺系任助教,后兼任园艺场场长。抗战开始后辗转于浙江、贵州、云南和甘肃等地,从此开始他为蔬菜育种遗传科学奋斗一生。他首先开展品种资源的调查和选种工作,推广了七种蔬菜的19个优良品种,杂交培育出四个不同特点的番茄品种。在大白菜杂种研究中,他发现并命名了自交系中的迟配系和大白菜雄性不育＂两用系＂,培育了一批大白菜的优良组合,在全国推广数万公顷。他在十字花科蔬菜和果树的远缘杂交中总结出许多有效的育种方法。在进行蔬菜育种的同时,谭其猛教授开展了相关性状的遗传变异规律研究,并取得重大进展。

Tanqimeng,a Famous Scientist and Professor of Horticultural Plant Breeding
