| Abstract: | Faithfulness comes first in transla tion principles.There are many factors which can affect the faithfulness in version,and one of t hem is idiom.This paper deals with th e significance of con-trastive analysis on English being p ut into Chinese in idiom in guaranteeing the faithfulness in translation by means of analyzing ty pical errors. |
