《蝴蝶君》的个人主体性研究

摘    要:对于华裔美国作家黄哲伦舞台剧《蝴蝶君》的讨论,普遍着重于后殖民与性别的相关议题。本文则以个人的主体性为主要关注,并肯定本剧实为一出浪漫悲剧。试图借由黑格尔对于浪漫精神的定义与解说,用以诠释加利马在剧中的幡然醒悟,尤其是最后以死明志,透过否定的否定,在其内在的和解,亦即在绝对的精神主体里肯定自身的存在价值,体现黑格尔所谓的浪漫精神。

Abstract:As for the discussion of Mr. Butterfly written by David Henry Hwang, topics attached were mainly post - colonism and gender. This paper focuses on the individual subjectivity in it and proves that the drama is a romantic tragedy. By the defini- tion and explanation of Hagelian romantic spirit, we attempt to interpret Gallimard's sudden awakening, especially, his eventual- ly intimating death. The hero confirms his own value of existence in the absolute spirit subjectivity through negative negation and immanence compromise, wherefore illustrating Hagelian romantic spirit.
