知识经济不能在计划经济体制而只能在市场经济体制下形成和发展 ,因为市场经济的等价交换原则和竞争机制有利于调动人的进取和创造精神。知识经济中的“知识” ,不仅指自然科学技术知识 ,而且包括人文社会科学知识。知识经济的发展有利于知识分子的社会地位从边缘化向中心化转变。要培养知识经济所需要的具有创新能力的人才 ,就必须深化教育改革。

Four Relations in the Formation and Development of Knowledge-Based Economy

Knowledge-based economy cannot develop in the context of planned economy, instead, it takes market economy as its prerequisite for development, because the principle of exchange at equal value and the mechanism of competition in market economy are conducive to human enterprising spirit and creativity. The word "knowledge" in "knowledge-based economy" encompasses knowledge of natural science and technology as well as knowledge of humanities and social sciences. Knowledge-based economy is contributive to improving the social status of intellectuals. It is necessary to deepen our educational reform in order to produce graduates with high creativity needed in the age of knowledge-based economy.
