The effect of individual variability on the life table |

| Abstract: | A general formulation of the life table in the presence of individual jeterogeneity is presented. The possible effects of heterogeneity on the various life table functions are outlined. For the case of ordinary life tables, a method is presented for the evaluation of these effects. The proposed method id illustrated by a numerical example. |
