| Abstract: | A two-dimensional branching process with both immigration and emigration 1s studied. The probability generating function of the population size at different generation points is obtained. The result is used to derive the expressions for the expected population vector under different conditions of immigration and emigration which leads to the ultimate structure of the population. |
