19世纪法国对越南的侵略

越南和法国有着悠久的历史关系。在15世纪,葡萄牙、西班牙和法国的传教士陆续来到越南。他们不仅在越南传教,而且还要把这里变成殖民地。在此背景下,越南朝廷实行禁止传教的政策,驱逐西方传教士。法国殖民主义者以此为借口,于1858年发动侵越战争,逐渐把越南变成法国的殖民地,从此开启了越法两国关系的黑暗时期。

The French Invasion of Vietnam in the 19th Century

Vietnam and France have a long history of relations. In the 15 th century,missionaries of Portugal,Spain and France arrived in Vietnam. They not only preached in Vietnam,but also aimed at aggression against Vietnam. In this context,the Vietnamese court adopted policies of prohibiting missionary,expelled Western clerics. French colonists used this as an excuse to launch a war invasion of Vietnam in 1858,Vietnam gradually became a colony of French. Thence,bilateral relations between French and Vietnam entered into the dark period.
