| Abstract: | Word conversion is an important grammatical category in ancient Chinese research. This article probes into several frequently occurring problems of word conversion in ancient Chinese teaching. Word conversion is a common phenomenon in ancient Chinese. It is different from words belonging to different classes. The scope of word conversion should be demarcated. In practice, modern rules of word conversion should not be applied to ancient Chinese. It should be studied synthetically through semantic, syntax and pragmatic studies. |
