四川民族地区的长征文物遗存保护利用工作存在与经济社会发展相对脱节、与文化空间环境相对脱节、与当地社区群众相对脱节、与现实需要相对脱节等现实问题。要走出上述困境，不能继续走以往主要依靠文物部门从文物工作角度开展相关工作的老路，必须集全社会各方之力，整合各种资源，统筹推进各项工作。本文立足有利于切实做好四川民族地区长征文物遗存保护利用工作、进一步发挥好资源综合效益的现实需要和实践可操作性，对相关路径和机制进行探讨。

Path and Mechanism: Preservation and Utilization of the Long March Cultural Relics in Sichuan Ethnic Minority Areas

The culture of the Long March and the spirit of the Long March are important components of building a common spiritual home for the Chinese nation. The Long March cultural relics-being the objects that witnessed the Long March history-show the culture of the Long March. These relics carry the Long March spirit, and are an important cultural resource for the preservation and research of the Long March history and culture. These memorial objects, moreover, bequeath an inheritance, promote the Long March spirit, and are an important economic resource for the development of revolution tourism and cultural industry, especially for local communities and their economies. In Sichuan ethnic minority areas, great achievements have been made in the protection and utilization of Long March cultural relics, but it also some practical problems have arisen, such as missed opportunities for economic and social development. Drawing from field research, we find that the protecting and using the Long March cultural mementos in ethnic minority areas of Sichuan province still face several practical difficulties. This comes to the surface mainly in the relative disconnect among the protection and utilization work, actual needs, and the low utilization rate of all the resources available. What aggravates everything, is the relatively backward economic and social development, the segmentation of departments and industries, and the lack of qualified talents. All of this is detrimental to the important position and role of Sichuan ethnic minority areas in the protection and utilization of Long March cultural objects, the inheritance and promotion of the Long March spirit, and the construction of a Long March National Cultural Park. Addressing the practical problems of the protection and usage of the Long March cultural relics in Sichuan ethnic minority areas, we try to put forward a new promotional plan for the protection and utilization of the Long March cultural relics. Here are its main elements: One is to strengthen the fundamental works by making clear the picture of the resources, managing them systematically, adjusting measures to local conditions, and using the resources comprehensively; the second one is to create a coordinated mechanism, for instances, establishing a cross-regional and inter-departmental coordinated mechanism, and a mechanism for community participation; the third element is to integrate the resource platform and build a work platform system of intermixed resource planning, protection, and utilization; fourth, we should promote a balanced development, adhere to the path of unifying growth for using differentiated development, and integrated development that protects and uses resources. The protection and utilization of the relics of the Long March are of great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance. Sichuan ethnic minority areas occupy an extremely important position in this affair.
