城市建设与文物保护

文物保护与城市建设是当前中国现代化进程中的一个矛盾问题。本文结合一些实例 ,对于如何在社会转型的新形势下协调这两者之间的关系进行了理论和政策方面的探讨。作者以为 ,在市场经济条件下 ,现行的《文物保护法》已经不能适应社会的实际需要 ,有待于进一步修改完善。立足当今中国社会现实 ,文物的社会保护可能是一条值得考虑的有效途径

Urban Construction and the Protection of Cultural Relics

China is a great country with a large number of cultural relics and antiquities.The contradiction between the preservation of antiquities and the fast reformation of the old cities is a knotty problem.For the officials and the archaeologists,it is a brains-cudgeling work to coordinating these two sides.Many events concerning with the damage of cultural remains are reported on special publications as well as in newspapers.In the present paper,some cases are illustrated and interpreted.The author points out that a justified project should make the cultural remains well preserved,and meanwhile take account of the interests of the inhabitants(emigrants),the local government and the cultural administration branch.The author also argues that China's law for preservation of antiquity in effect needs to be improved in new situation.
