Quantitative Analysis on the Income Difference Among the Urban Residents in Beijing

In this article, authors make a quantitative analysis to the income display of urban residents in Beijing during 1996 and 1997. They calculate the Gini coefficient, measure and analysis the impact on gini coefficient by major factors related to income disparity such as high-income stratum, employment rate, illicit income and revenues created by financial assets.
