“第三条道路”是欧洲社会党为回应当代资本主义新变化和新问题而提出的一套治国理念和对策。其内容主要是 :以积极的福利政策改革应对当代资本主义福利国家危机 ;通过实行国家干预与自由放任之间的中间性政策 ,寻求新形势下国家与市场关系的新平衡 ;超越传统“左”、“右”政治分野 ,寻求更广泛的社会支持 ,以适应当代资本主义国家阶级政治式微的现实 ;界定新的民主国家范式 ,以求解决资本主义民主制度困境 ;提出国际关系新准则 ,企图在全球化和后冷战时代变化了的国际背景下维持西方大国的强势地位与国际影响

The Development of Contemporary Capitalism and European Socialist Party's "The Third Way"

The Third Way"is a series of administering ideas and policies of European socialist party to solve the new changes and problems of contemporary capitalism.Its contents are the following :practicing the positive welfare policy reform to answer the crisis of welfare state; adopting the middle policies between the state intervention and laisser-faire to seek the new balance of state and market in the new situation ; exceeding the "left/right" political division to gain more wide social support and get used to the reality of the declining class politics; defining new democracy state pattern to walk out of the straits of capitalism democracy; raising new standards of international relations so as to maintain the western countries' powerful status an international influence in the age of globalization and post-cold war.
