| Abstract: | The applying of semiotics in modern linguistics has brought forth new development of linguistics. As a process of interlinguistic transformation, translation can and should be studied from the angle of semiotics, especially linguistic semiotics, which is now pointing at a new and wide road for studies of translation. This article, from the multi meaning of linguistic signs, treats the process of English Chinese and Chinese English translation as well as some specific problems worth noticing. |
