| 摘 要： | 评判一个国家民主建设的成效，既要看其民主制度的发展状况，也要看公民是否具有强烈的民主意识。由于宗法式的小农经济长期占统治地位，封建思想仍未根除，我国公民的民主意识至今依然淡薄。市场经济的不断完善对我国公民民主意识现代化的进程产生了深刻的影响。因此，深入分析造成的这种影响，探索当前民主意识淡薄的深层原因，寻求中国民主意识现代化建设的几条有效路径十分必要。

| Abstract: | The criteria of evaluating the achievements of democracy in a nation lie with both the level of its democratic system and its people's democratic consciousness. In China ,where small-scale farmer economy on a patriarchal basis has been dominant in a long period and the feudal ideologies are still haunting, the people have no strong democratic consciousness. However, the improvement of China's market economy has brought about profound influence on the modernization of Chinese people's democratic consciousness. Therefore, it is of great necessity to thoroughly analyze this influence, explore the deep-seated cause of the current lack of democratic consciousness, and to seek several effective ways for the modernization of democratic consciousness in China. |
