英语阅读教学中论辩类篇章的篇章模式分析

摘    要:论辩类篇章是英语语篇中一种典型的体裁.根据体裁分析理论,体裁的理据制约着文章的内容与形式,因此论辩类篇章也有着规律性的篇章组织模式.为能在此类篇章的阅读教学中有效地帮助学生解读篇章,把握篇章的宏观结构,本文试图在体裁分析的理论基础上,结合篇章语言学中的篇章模式理论分析论辩类篇章常见的篇章模式.

Abstract:Arguments are one of the typical genres in English texts. According to the theory of genre analysis, the rationale behind a genre establishes constraints on its content and form. Thus, we assume that argumentative texts are usually constructed on certain textual patterns. Based on this assumption and the theory of text linguistics, this paper attempts to analyze the usual textual patterns of argumentative essays with the purpose of helping students understand the macrostructure of the texts, so that they can understand the texts effectively.
