From "Three kinds of beneficial for" to "Three representations" is the historical inheritance and development of China's contemporary Marxist standard of political evaluation. While the inheriting nature of the "Three representations" in relation to the "Three kinds of beneficial for" is chiefly embodied in the fact that both of them emphasize the basic status of productive force, and both take the benefit of the people as the orientation of value, the developing nature mainly stresses the important function of "advanced culture" in the development of society.
