| 摘 要： | 委婉语是人类社会中普遍存在的一种语言现象,是为了达到理想交际效果而采用的一种策略,具有重要的交际功能。委婉语主要有三个交际功能,即“避讳”功能,“礼貌”功能以及“掩饰”功能。文章从跨文化对比的角度出发,从以上三个方面分析对比英汉委婉语的交际功能。
