In the new era,scientific development principle is a great strategic theory in constructing a well-off society in China.It is of practical and historic significance to implement the principle in higher vocational education.The comprehensive,harmonious and sustainable development of higher vocational education,which is human oriented,should meet the demands of economy and society.In spite of various obstacles on the way from enlarging the scale to improving the quality,higher vocational education can achieve innovative development through scientific defining of running principle and proper dealing with the relations between scale and quality as well as reform and stability.
