道德哲学视域中的勇敢及其变迁

勇敢与勇气是紧密相联的,但也有区别的。勇敢是高尚的、理性的、多样的与有差异的。勇敢不仅是个体之所需,更是家庭、社会与国家之所需,因而勇敢是重要的。勇敢的产生与环境有着紧密的联系,但又不能使之绝对化。勇敢也是流变的,在现代性社会,理性之勇取代了尚武之勇,而且坚韧被视为勇敢的最基本样式。与之相随的则是个体的血气之勇日渐式微,这也在某种程度上造就了道德冷漠。

On Braveness and Its Changes in the View of Cultural

Braveness and courage are closely linked, but there are distinctions between them. Braveness is a virtue of courage. Braveness is noble, rational, diversified. Braveness is the need not only of the individual but also of the family, society and the state. So braveness is important. There is a very close relation between braveness and its environment, but it should not be overstated. Braveness also changes. In modern society, rational braveness has replaced the warrior courage, and diligence is regarded as the basic form of braveness. As a result, the individual courage and uprightness decline, moral indifference has come into being.
