Brief Discussion on the War of Resistance Period Poetry Creation by Mu Mutian

During the period of the War of Resistance,it’s because the reality,the fate of the nation hung in the balance,that Mu Mutian converted his early symbolism writing style into realism.His supreme purpose for poetry creation was writing for the national survival.And most of his works aimed to reveal the sufferings,denounce the criminal act as well as appeal to the struggle against Japanese.As "Trumpeter of the Era",although Mu’s poetry strengthened the spirit of the time,they also weakened the artistic quality.All in all,his poetry still showed so many features in some areas such as color and image selecting and the structure-body.
