略论中晚唐时期世俗社会中的弥陀净土信仰

净土信仰是中国宗教意识形态领域的一个重要组成部分，佛教传入中国伊始，有关佛教净土的观念也随之传入中国。中晚唐时期，弥陀净土信仰已经深入到世俗社会的各个阶层，并与民众的社会生活相融汇，同时也与中华民族的传统文化相交融，成为民族文化的一个重要组成部分。笔者试通过对中晚唐时期民众弥陀信仰功德活动的分析．指出当时世俗社会中弥陀净土信仰的特点及原因。
