炎帝时代是中国原始社会由母系氏族社会向父系氏族社会过渡的转变时期,也是中国原始社会道德的形成、发展时期.炎帝时代的道德特点是:坚韧不拔、团结拼搏,民主友爱、人人平等,克服困难、勇于创新,民无私心、道德淳朴.这应是中国传统美德的重要组成部分,对建设中国特色的社会主义有非常重要的作用.

The age of Emperor Yan is an era shifting from matrilineal clan society to patrilineal clan society in China's primitive society. It is also a period when the Chinese primitive social morality was formed and developed. The distinct moral characters of this period are persistence and dauntlessness, unity and struggle, democracy and love, equality, enterprising spirit, courage, selfishness and honesty. All these should be the components of the traditional Chinese virtue. They are playing an important role in the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
