| Abstract: | Numerous scholars have described women's speech as being different from that of men. Every linguistic phenomenon is related to certain social context, so is female linguistic style in English. The analysis of the characteristics of female linguistic style can reveal the relationship between the female linguistic style and the social contexts, and provide signs for the social position of women at different times. |
