Value Reconstruction of Studies on Contemporary Russian Social History and Its Significance

With the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the end of the original ideology,in the difficult process of Russia’s escape from the political and economic crisis,and the restoration of its goal of becoming a powerful country,great changes have taken place in various fields of humanities and social sciences.The intellectuals have further deepened their understanding of the paradox and duality of the Russian spirit,and have made in-depth thinking about the difficulties and problems faced by reform and reconstruction from different perspectives.In such a complex period of intertwined world changes and national transformations,some solemn historians consciously have exerted their subject consciousness,explored the deep structure of history,and rationally pondered the past,reality,and future of the motherland.Among them,the concept evolution and value reconstruction of Russian social history are eye-catching.Although the diversified historical thoughts reflect different value orientations,the theoretical renewal and the broadening of the horizon of studies on social history have re-understood the contradictions and particularities of the Russian historical process,which has promoted considerable progress in studies on contemporary Russian social history.
