公示语语篇英译中的原则和翻译方法

长期以来,我们的翻译理论和实践主要针对的是文学翻译,因而有关研究成果对于实用英语的翻译（包括公示语翻译）并不完全适合。根据北京第二外国语学院公示语翻译研究中心对全国公示语翻译及使用情况的实证研究,本文结合英汉公示语语篇的主要特征及语篇基本信息功能和呼告功能,在理论层面探讨了在汉语公示语英译中我们应遵循对等的功能原则,主要使用借译和编译的方法,同时特别注意英语表达的规范性和可接受性。
