| Abstract: | This article explores the relationship between Chadwick and public health reform and legislation in modern Britain. The paper holds that Chadwick is an important figure in public health history of modern England. He was the first person to put forward systematic public health thought. Also, He advocated the reform and legislation in the field of public health. He contributed greatly to the establishment of the public health legal system and the public health reform in modern Britain. |
