| 摘 要： | 简·奥斯丁生活在18世纪末19世纪初的英国,她一生完成了六部长篇小说,均以女主人公的婚恋为主题,以她们进入婚姻殿堂为结局.文章认为看似浪漫的故事却掩藏着深刻的社会问题--女性受教育问题、就业问题、人口问题等.而中产阶级女性在社会﹑经济﹑教育等方面受到诸多限制,进而反映了她们所处的社会地位.

| Abstract: | The six novels Jane Austen completed in her lifetime all reflect how middle-class women find husbands and eventually get married.However,under the seemingly romantic stories there exists such social problems concerning middle-class women as education,employment and sex ratio.And these problems reveal the socio-economic disadvantages that the middle-class women had,and further their social position. |
