| Abstract: | The author in this article mades a focused study on the trend of entertaining in sports report taking the World Cup Special Column, South Urban Daily as a model .Specific techniques applied in this process are also probed into by the author which range from headlines,photographs,comments to formats.Further, a critical analysis is conducted on the motivation & influence implied in the trend. |
