A Comparative Study of the Possible Political Systems in Pluralistic Times Suggested by Berlin, Rawls and Gray

Towards the ways of establishing stable, harmonious political order in pluralistic times, Berlin, Rawls and Gray differ from one another to some extent, but their opinions are also related to one another. Berlin points out the fact of the mutual irreducibility of pluralistic values, and reveals the possibility of combining pluralistic values with liberalistic system. By a kind of rigid proof, Rawls has constructed a whole set of system which can provide a blueprint for the pluralistic values to flourish in the liberal system. However, Gray thinks that the liberal system is not the only ideal political system available in the pluralistic times as there are actually other possible systems that can also contain the plural values effectively.
