On the Role of the KMT Regional Warlords in the Formation of the Situation of the Nationwide Anti-Japanese War

The local resistance to the Japanese aggression of the KMT regional warlo rds promoted the development of the c ommon people' s movement to rescue their country,a nd objectively prepared the mass base for the start of the anti-Japanese war.In the mean-time,the KMT regional warlords took the lead in uniting with GPC to resist the Japanese aggression,which brou ght about the second cooperation between CPC and KMT,and created the political prerequisite for the formation of the situation of the nationwide anti-Japanese war.After the Lugouqiao Incident,t he regional warlords opened the prelude to the nationwide anti-Japanese war,and urged Jing Kaishirk to take the firm resolution to resist the Japanese aggression,which had a direct influence on the start of the o verall anti-Japanese war.
