The Problems and Measures of Agricultural Science and Technology Popularization Facing with in the West Development

Some crucial problems that agricultural science and technology popularization faces with in the development of the west are discussed in the paper. For example, the backward traditional concept of paying much more attention to science and technology and looking down on popularization,the incomplete system of agricultural science and technology popularization, the lower adopting ability of farmer to the new science and technology, the infavourable isolation between popularization research and education,the disjointedness between research application and popularication, the shortage of power and funds for agricultural science and technology popularization. At the same time, the notion of agricultural science and technology popularization in the west development is brought forward. They are:perfect the system of agricultural science and technology popularization, enhance the macro management, increase investment in popularization, reinforce agricultural technology training, improve farmer's consciousness of science and technology, give full play to superiority of agricultural science and education, establish a well trained popularization troops and encourage diversified transforming models of science and research accomplishment to enhance integration of research, teaching and popularization.
