| Abstract: | Cats is a musical adapted from a collection of poems for children. Usually the hope of success of a musical on such subject matter is dim. However, Andrew Lloyd Webber, a music prodigy, together with his talented creative team, has achieved spectacular achievements in his Cats. Its theme song Memory is so touching and globally popular that it has become the symbol and representative of Cats. The secret of its success lies in the perfect integration of rich musical elements, original dance and bold stage design. |
