Literature in the new era finds its cultural expression not only in cultural pursuit but also in cultural disillusionment. The cultural pursuit, the most meaningful of the time, is characterized with the attack against feudal dictatorship and cultural bandages, and a longing for science, democracy, liberalism and multi-elements. The cultural disillusionment, on the other hand, showed an oscillation in cultural enlightenment, spiritual disorientation under the shock of the market economy and a complete loss in terms of cultural values.
