On Difficulties in Dubbing Translation

Dubbed films are a unique art and dubbing translation is a unique study serving its purpose.Translators working in this branch constantly find themselves faced with three main contradictions,namely,＂mouth shape and contents＂,＂sentence order and pictures＂,and＂literal translation or free translation.＂ To represent the original film to the greatest possible extent,and to achieve the nearly equivalent response between the audience of the target language and the source language,the translators must be flexible and seek to strike a balance between the two aspects of these contradictions.
