“六书”的语源学透视

本文从语源学新视角审察传统文字学中的“六书”问题,认为前三书文字所表语词是音形义三位一体的,形声、转注实为一书,皆以现成文字记词并添加辅助符号,本质上与假借表词法相一致。

An Etymological Perspection "Liushu

Ths paper seeks to explore the six devices for creating graphs from a new angle of etymology, which is called liushu, "the six types character composition, in the Chinese traditional graphology. We argue that every character in the first three types reparents a sound(yin), a shape(xing) and a meaning(yi). Xingsheng "Phonetic compounds" and zhuanzhu ought to be classified as one category. Both of them are based on existent characters with auxiliary signs. It is identical by nature with another type, Jiajie "loan characters
