| 摘 要： | 棉花是华北地区最重要的经济作物之一。其种植面积在近代时期出现了明显的增长。究其原因有二经济利益的刺激是近代华北农民广种棉花的根本原因；特定的社会历史条件对近代华北棉田的增长也产生了重要影响。

| Abstract: | ract:As one of the major economic crops in North China, cotton has witnessed remarkable increase in plantation area in mordern times. There are two reasons which in my viewpoint, contribute to this change: 1. Economic interest, as the foundamental reason, encourages the extensive cotton planting; 2. Some social and historical conditions have a far-reaching impact on the increase of cotton plantation area. |
