The comparability among comparative literatures is a fundamental question in the course of comparative literature theory, which closely related with the position of this course itself and the affirmation of concrete study object, and so on, taken as the key questions of being an independent and continuing development course. Through deep explorations of some more influential views on comparability of comparative literature in current academic circle, this paper suggests a new definition of the comparability of comparative literature, on the basis of which definition briefly illustrates its contents in different stages.
