| 摘 要： | 蒙元王室选择藏传佛教信仰与藏传佛教在中国西部地区具有广泛影响是密切相关的 ,同时也是蒙、藏民族双方关系互动以及藏传佛教密法与其社会文化相适应的结果。蒙元统治者与藏传佛教之间存在着多层面关系 ,西夏境内藏传佛教的兴盛、藏传佛教界对蒙古王室的积极传教及藏传佛教密法的特色等对蒙元统治者选择藏传佛教信仰具有重要影响。

| Abstract: | Yuan Dynasty chose Tibetan Buddhism thanks to the following causes: widely-spread influence of Tibetan Buddhism in Northwest China, interaction between Mongolians and Tibetans, Tibetan Buddhism conforming to society and culture of that time, close relationship between Mongolian rulers and Tibetan Buddhists, prosperity of Tibetan Buddhism in West Xia, Tibetan Buddhists' active missionary work to the Mongolian royals, and the characteristics of Tibetan Buddhism. |
