| Abstract: | Several soft- start techniques including high -voltage frequency start- up, PLC soft -start are introduced and their application in power system is analyzed in this paper. The superiorities and disadvantages of varieties of methods are comparied. According to the requests, the suggestions of method choices for kinds of soft - start technique are provided. |
