清末新疆通内外交通的反差

古代历朝对西域的治策和经略多以武力振威和怀柔羁縻 ,而非彻底加以建设和真正开发 ,这是西域以至民国新疆难与内地同一化 ,以及经营失策的重要症结。新疆内外交通反差巨大 ,外通优于内通即是显著窥孔。由此可见政治军事大于经济建设的历代弊端。

Contrast of Communication in and out of Xinjiang in the Late Qing Dynasty

In ancient dynasties, the policy of control and management strategy in the west region were dominated by armed power and mollification with ulterior motivation rather than thorough construction and true opening, thus making it difficult for the west region and even Xinjiang to identify with the inner land provinces as well as make improper management. The contrast of communication in and out of Xinjiang is enormous, which is obviously shown by the fact that external communication is superior to internal one. Hence, we can see the drawback that politics and military are given more priority than economic construction.
