新启蒙运动研究综述

新启蒙运动是20世纪30年代中后期"左"翼文化人士在北平、上海等地开展的一场新思想运动。学术界对该运动的研究始于上世纪90年代初,主要集中在新启蒙运动的社会背景、发展过程、内容性质、终结原因、历史地位以及与五四运动的比较研究等方面。由于该项研究起步较晚,因此仍需加强相关史料的挖掘与考证,以拓展研究的广度和深度。

A Review on the studies of Neo-Enlightenment Movement

Neo-Enlightenment was a new ideological movement launched by intellectual Left-wingers in Peking and Shanghai in mid and late 30s of the 20th century. The academic research on it started in early 1990s, focusing on its social background, process of development, content, characteristic, cause of termination, historical position, and the comparison between May 4th Movement and Neo-Enlightenment. Due to the late start of the research, further exploration and textual research of its historical documents are needed to broaden the range and depth of the research.
