| 摘 要： | 模糊限制语是科技英语中不可缺少的一部分.模糊限制语在其中有着丰富的表现力.本文根据 Verschueren提出的顺应论对模糊限制语在科技英语中的语境顺应性进行了探讨,发现模糊限制语同时顺应科技英语的语言语境和交际语境.

| Abstract: | Hedges are necessary for the scientific English,in which there are various devices such as words,sentences and discourses.This article discusses the adaptability of hedges to the context in scientific English on the basis of the theory of adaptability put forward by Verschueren.The author finds that hedges in scientific English adapt to both linguistic and communicative contexts. |
