汉代的父子关系考述

汉代家庭实行的是父家长制,父有教育惩罚子女、掌管家产、卖子、决定子女的婚姻等权力,但同时也有抚育子女、维持家庭生存的义务。子无权力可言,只有赡养父母、尊敬父母、安葬父母、祭祀父母等义务。汉代家庭中父子的不平等,主要是受到了当时伦理规范和法律制度的影响。汉代的父子关系对后世产生了重要影响。

The paternal patriarchal system was implemented during the Han Dynasty.The fathers had the authority to educate and punish their children,manage the family properties,sell the children and decide the marriages of them.Meanwhile they must undertake the duties to foster their children and support the lives of the families.The sons had not any authority in the families save for the duties to foster and respect their parents when they were alive and bury them and offered sacrifices to them when they were dead.The unequal relationships between fathers and sons during the Han Dynasty were mainly restrained by the ethical system and influenced by the legal systems.This kind of relationship exerted far-reaching influence on the later father-son relationships.
