| 摘 要： | 语言材料证明,在现代汉语中＂未亡人＂一词已产生了多种新的用法。这些新用法是语言内外因素共同作用的结果,合乎词义发展的一般规律。词典编撰者应积极稳妥地反映这一语言事实。

| Abstract: | Linguistic data have shown that the word ＂wei wang ren＂（meaning ＂the widowed＂）has evolved new pragmatic meanings in modern Chinese.These newly-derived meanings,resulted from the interactions of intra-and extra-linguistic factors,fit in with the general law of word-meaning development.Dictionary editors should,therefore,take into consideration and appropriately represent the linguistic phenomenon in their work. |
