| 摘 要： | 文章论述了德里达的两个术语“延异”和“播撒”在霍克斯小说中实现词汇、文本和意义的不确定性所起的作用，表明霍克斯与德里达在理论上的相似性；指出霍克斯在开放的后现代主义文本中玩弄语言游戏，创造了自我指涉性的、语言为主角的文本和具有不确定性的人物，同时也指出这样的作品留给读者以空间和时间去重新审视和严肃思考文本中所描述的人和事。
