和谐教育是社会主义大学育人的重要内容。在构建社会主义和谐社会的进程中,对大学生开展和谐教育符合党的十六届六中全会精神,符合马克思关于人的全面发展的理论,符合时代发展的社会需要,是一项顺应教育国际化潮流,遵循教育规律的基础性教育。和谐教育需要把握正确的育人方向,建设高素质的教师队伍,设计宽松的育人方式,建设和谐的育人环境,构架和谐教育系统工程。要通过纳入学校必修课程的思想政治理论课、各类人文社会科学类的选修课和学校的党团组织生活等多种渠道,使大学生了解和谐,学会和谐,践行和谐。

Harmonious Education on University Campus

Harmonious education is an important part of education in socialist universities.In the process of building a socialist society,the practice of harmonious education for university students accords with the spirit of the Sixteenth Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party,conforms to Marxist theory concerning the full development of human being,and meets the social needs of the development of the times.It is a trend that indicates the globalization of education.It is a kind of fundamental education that respects regular education pattern.Harmonious education is a project,which demands us to develop correct education purposes,well-qualified teachers,flexible teaching methods,harmonious teaching environment,and a harmonious education system. Harmonious education should be included in the required courses concerning ideological and political theory.It should also be included in the selected courses of humanistic sciences,and in various activities of the Party and the Communist Youth League,so that our students can have an opportunity to understand,to learn and to experience harmonious education.
