| Abstract: | Expo 2010 is aimed to be the most successful, splendid and memorable one. The Shanghai city tourism industry shall take the chance to exploit the new phase of tourism development and contribute to Expo 2010. This article analyses the opportunities to promote the span development during the preparation and execution of Expo 2010 to promote the saltatory development of Shanghai tourism industry that will eventually create a giant tourism environment, construct a tourism chain, form the tourism market and frame the tourism structure. This article also discusses the supportive function that Shanghai City tourism brings to the Expo 2010 in the areas of travelers, facilities, services, benefits and follow-up. |
