中国的民族识别及其理论构建

民族识别的重要意义在于保障了少数群体的权利,实现了真正意义上的民族平等和民族团结。我国民族识别工作的理论支撑是基于前苏联的民族工作的经验并借鉴斯大林的民族概念,同时根据当时的国情采取了灵活变通的方法。今天,我们重新对发生在50多年前的少数民族社会历史调查和民族识别工作加以回顾和审视,有必要重新认识民族识别工作的理论和现实意义,对于我们研究国内民族关系和认识民族问题研究的实质,有着一定的现实指导意义。
